There are 16 branches in Geelong, half of which are community banks. Benefit Geelong is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping Greater Geelong and the region’s communities. Every customer, business or retail, that banks with Bendigo Bank can be a part of it. A percentage of the corporate branches profit goes to the non for profit, independent Benefit Geelong, which can go back into the community through grants or donations. Examples are an indigenous surfing and a mental health program that have recently been funded.
