Geelong Young Professionals

Inspiring The Future Of Geelong Business

The Geelong Young Professionals Network is leading and inspiring Geelong’s up-coming professionals and building a strong succession culture for future of the Geelong region.

Auspiced by the Geelong Chamber of Commerce, Geelong Young Professionals have operated for over ten years run by a passionate volunteer committee.

Geelong Young Professionals endeavour to give young professionals, from those new to their roles to the young at heart, the opportunity to build networks and strengthen relationships with like-minded individuals via a series of innovative networking events.

These events attract up to 250 participants and deliver insightful and inspiring speakers and topics that provide an informal approach to professional development and an awareness of advancing business in our region.

Past speakers include Chris Mackey, Jem Fuller, Sean Purcell and Keith Abraham. A local panel of experts covering timely themes is also a highlight of the Geelong Young Professional annual calendar.

The current committee is comprised of:

  • Georgia McLean, WorkSafe Victoria
  • Kimberley Sinnott, Geelong Arts Centre
  • Lachlan Huismann, Moore Australia
  • Laura Schreurs, Deakin University
  • Luke Outerbridge, Proxy Design
  • Sean Gearon, WorkSafe
  • Stephanie Davie, Costa Asset Services
