About the Speakers

Steve Hocking

Steve Hocking was appointed as CEO in 2021. His association with the Geelong Football Club dates back to the early 1980’s when he joined the club as a hopeful teenage player. He has gone on to be one of the most influential people in the club’s long history.

Simon Kelleher

Simon Kelleher is the Chief Operating Officer at the Geelong Football Club. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Previously CFO, Simon is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining a sustainable operating model for the Geelong Cats.

Cassie Lindsey

Cassie Lindsey is the Head of Inclusion and Diversity at the Geelong Football Club. She is an accomplished senior leader with extensive background in the areas of inclusion, equity and diversity working alongside multi-disciplined teams, leadership, committees, and stakeholders. Cassie has over twenty years of leadership and organisational development experience working across wide range of industries including government, not-for-profit, natural resources, education and the sports sectors. Recognised as a national expert she delivers creative, innovative and future-focused inclusive people solutions and cultural change initiatives.
