GWF aims to make filming in the region a seamless and affordable undertaking.
Creating a regional film, television and screen hub has not only cultural but positive economic impacts. Creating additional local jobs across a diverse range of skills and trades, the industry also triggers a demand for filming locations, accommodation facilities, transport, catering and a flow on in increased tourism.

Waterfront Film Foundation is listed on the Register of Cultural Organisations (ROCO) and donations to the Foundation are tax deductible. All donations go towards supporting content creators. Grants for local filming are issued via the Foundation's comprehensive application process.
