AMDA Foundation Limited delivers Australia’s largest and most prominent international defence and aerospace industry expositions, programs and airshows. At first glance the organisation may resemble a commercial event company, but AMDA is different.

It is a not-for-profit foundation, registered under the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Act, with no shareholders, no investors and no intent to pursue profit for its own sake.

The Foundation’s mission is to promote the development of Australian industrial and technological resources, in the national interest.

In this sense AMDA’s events and expositions are not objectives in themselves, but enablers of the organisation’s mission.
