China: Victorian Government Trade Missions September 2012

The Department of Business and Innovation are coordinating the follow trade missions to China, now anticipated September 2012:

  • SIAL China Trade Fair ,Shanghai
  • Super Trade Mission to China

CHINA SUPER TRADE MISSION

China is Victoria’s largest trading partner and is the major engine of global growth. As China’s economy grows and its appetite for sophisticated consumer products develops, Victorian companies offer a safe and superior range of goods and services for the China market.

The Victorian Government will provide financial assistance to Victorian companies participating in the mission.

This multi-sectoral trade mission of up to 250 companies will be led by senior Victorian Government and industry representatives. It will focus on enhancing and developing
commercial opportunities within the following sectors:

  • Automotive
  • Education
  • ICT
  • Cleantech
  • Commercial aerospace
  • Food and beverage
  • Tourism
  • Aviation
  • Life sciences
  • Mining equipment technology services (METS)

CHINA SIAL - SHANGHAI

Expressions of interest are now invited from food and beverage companies to participate in the SIAL China Trade Fair from September 2012.

SIAL China is an integral part of the international network of trade exhibitions devoted to the food and beverage sector. It is China’s largest international food and beverage show, welcoming more than 33,000 visitors in 2011, nearly half of whom were distributors.

The Victorian Government will provide financial assistance to Victorian companies participating in the mission.
